Hi, I’m Alex, a user experience designer based in Minneapolis.

I aim to create accessible, flexible, and logical experiences based on a mix of research and informed intuition, always centered around the people who will interact with and benefit from my work the most.

It is fundamental to my approach to be a constant advocate for the end user (or users) of a site, service, or product. Any project will inevitably run into business necessities, technical or organizational limitations, and differing opinions, but by consistently returning to the ways in which a decision will affect the people who will actually use the app or visit the site, a project will always have a stabilizing question at its core: “how will this help [x] accomplish [y]?”
